Who we are

UplinkGuru is a software product developed and owned by UpsellGuru (“UpsellGuru,” “we,” “us”). This policy describes how we handle information in connection with the UplinkGuru service, including where we use LinkedIn APIs as part of delivering the product to our customers.

LinkedIn and “member” data

UplinkGuru may interact with LinkedIn on behalf of your organization in line with LinkedIn’s Developer Program terms and the permissions granted by your organization. We do not use UplinkGuru to build or maintain a database of LinkedIn member profiles for unrelated purposes (for example, resale, brokering, or general advertising lists).

We do not store LinkedIn member personal data as a long-lived archive inside UplinkGuru for tracking individuals across the web. Where LinkedIn data is shown or used in the product, it is used to operate the service your organization has subscribed to (for example, supporting coordinated, human-reviewed engagement workflows).

Company activity statistics

We collect and retain aggregated or statistical information about how teams use UplinkGuru so your organization can understand activity and adoption (for example, usage metrics tied to the company account rather than a marketing profile of individual LinkedIn members). The exact metrics available in the product may change over time.

Workspace accounts (login)

To provide UplinkGuru, we process basic account information for people your organization authorizes to use the product (for example, work email address and authentication records through our identity provider). That processing is separate from storing LinkedIn “member” dossiers as described above and is limited to operating the service, security, and support.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies as needed for session and security (for example, keeping you signed in where your organization uses email/password or SSO). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.

Service providers

We use trusted infrastructure and service providers (for example, hosting and authentication) to run UplinkGuru. They process information only on our instructions and for the purposes described in this policy, subject to appropriate agreements.

Retention

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Aggregated statistics may be retained in a form that does not reasonably identify individuals.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through UplinkGuru. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to align with industry practices for the nature of the service.

International transfers

Depending on where your organization and users are located, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) in line with applicable law.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of personal information, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Many requests for UplinkGuru are handled through your employer or UpsellGuru’s customer contact for your organization.
